Polyols (Sugar Alcohols)(Isomalt) has been subtracted along with the fiber as it's conversion requires little or no insulin and does not cause an appreciable increase in serum gulcose levels. Thus consuming an excessive amount can cause a laxative effect as the SA (Sugar Alcohol) is "passed".
